Sugar is present in almost all kinds of processed foods that we consumed today, and most of us don't even realize that we have become addicted to it. This secretly increases our body weight and fat without our knowledge. Try this 7 day detox plan to break your sugar addiction and have a healthy lifestyle. If others can do it, so can you. Take this as a challenge and start ASAP.

Here are the rules:

- The challenge involves cutting down on all kinds of sugars during your diet. This includes any kind of sugar such as sweeteners, honey, syrups, refined sugar, etc.

- Only natural sugars that are found in foods like fruits, grains, dairy, etc are allowed. Since these are healthy sugars, they are allowed.

- If any product you purchase has any mentioned like sugar free should be avoided. Added sugar has many different names to go by.

The Plan

- Prepare yourself for any kind of side effects. Breaking an addictive habit usually has side effects such as weakness, headaches, etc. But this is normal with breaking any kind of addictive habit and passes within 2-3 days so you don't have to worry about that.

- Research and make a list of natural products that you can buy during your 7 day detox plan.

- Drink atleast 3-4 liters of water everyday to flush out your body of unwanted garbage and perform its best.

- Switch to fruits whenever you crave for sugar foods. Since your body processes the sugar from fruits the same way as processed foods your craving will go away in sometime. Fruits like bananas, strawberries, etc can be preferred.
Natural smoothies can be used as a supplement but keep in mind not to add any refined sugar, honey, etc. Fruits naturally contain enough sugar.

- In case your cravings take you over and you end up eating sugar, then don't regret. Move on and prepare yourself to be more stronger for the next time you crave.

Following up with your diet
After your 7 day detox plan you will start feel healthy changes in your lifestyle. You will feel more better about yourself. At this point you can switch to unrefined sugar instead of refined sugar as they contain nutrients that are good for you. But keep in mind to keep everything in moderation. Anything eaten n excess will always lead to weight gain.
